Grassley Calls Obama Dishonest
Senator Grassley who has been stringing the Democrats along for months in the health care debate has been spending his August recess doing everything he can to derail the entire process. First he tells his constituents that they should “be afraid” of the Democratic plan and that it would “pull the plug on grandma”. These statements along with him bragging about his success in slowing down the process seems to show that he has been negotiating in bad faith all along. But now, in an interview with Fox News he is taking his disingenuousness to a new level by accusing President Obama of being “intellectually dishonest”. Anybody who has been following the health care process in a serious manner can only laugh at the hypocrisy. The only question now is how long Obama and the Democratic leadership in the Senate will continue to play nice with somebody who has obviously no intention of making a positive contribution to the bill.
