Maria Bartiromo Fails To Explain Her Mistake
A quick update on the earlier Maria Bartiromo debacle where she seemed to not know that a person had to be 65 before they could go on Medicare. Today on Morning Joe, she made the claim that she hadn’t been talking about Medicare at all when she made her remarks. Instead, she was trying to make a point about how great Congressman Anthony Weiner’s government run plan was compared to a public option. I went back to view the original clip to make sure and I do not see how her current explanation could be the truth. Check out the old video and judge for yourself. I think it is important that we understand that commentators like miss Bartiromo are arguing an Ideological position that is against any kind of government involvement in the corporate world. She has consistently shown extreme anger towards Obama’s financial regulation proposals and completely ignored Wall Street’s irresponsible behavior. For her, the only good bill is a dead bill.
